The Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) was formed in 1992 to provide advice to Metro Vancouver’s Regional Planning and Agriculture Committee and to the Metro Vancouver Board on matters affecting local farming. The AAC also raises awareness about the importance of agriculture in the region and serves as a forum to communicate agricultural concerns to all levels of government.
The AAC members have diverse expertise and represent agriculture commodity groups, food-related organizations and municipalities in the region.
The Regional Planning
and Agriculture Committee membership, agendas and minutes are available at Boards and Committees.
